Realistic Visual Effects Style

Lasers & Explosion
The Nexus project was part of Space Rock Games, Art outsourcing work for an Australian developer Playa3ull.
Nexus is a third person MOBA shooter game that has a wide range of weapons and abilities for their characters using Unreal 5.
The project involved creating and reworking a lot of their older effects in Unreal's Niagara system. To create more impressive and optimized effects to efficiently work with the game play.

A Floating Rock production, featuring a young genetically modified Trex dinosaur in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo. The clip below, show an in game cut scene of Tori running away smashing though an alleyway door to escape the Raptors perusing him.

Kyoryu full screen effect with dino 'sneak past' game sequence. The red vignette indicates danger to the Player, having them hold position until the predators look away.
Post Production VFX
Mostly developed using a combination of Houdini and Maya. Then rendered and composited.
My effects ranged from creating natural environments effects such as mist, fog, lighting and clouds. To more dramatic effects fire dynamics and explosions.
